F-ing applicative functors
Essential to ML-style module systems is the concept of a functor, i.e. a function from modules to modules. Functors are ML’s way of providing generic data structures and reusable program components. Yet, there is a bewildering schism in ML land regarding the actual semantics of functors, familiar to experts under the code words generative vs. applicative. In Standard ML [3], each application of...
متن کاملF-regularity relative to modules
In this paper we will generalize some of known results on the tight closure of an ideal to the tight closure of an ideal relative to a module .
متن کاملRelative (co)homology of $F$-Gorenstein modules
We investigate the relative cohomology and relative homology theories of $F$-Gorenstein modules, consider the relations between classical and $F$-Gorenstein (co)homology theories.
متن کاملA KIND OF F-INVERSE SPLIT MODULES
Let M be a right module over a ring R. In this manuscript, we shall study on a special case of F-inverse split modules where F is a fully invariant submodule of M introduced in [12]. We say M is Z 2(M)-inverse split provided f^(-1)(Z2(M)) is a direct summand of M for each endomorphism f of M. We prove that M is Z2(M)-inverse split if and only if M is a direct...
متن کاملF-quasigroups and Generalized Modules
In [3], we showed that every F-quasigroup is linear over a special kind of Moufang loop called an NK-loop. Here we extend this relationship by showing an equivalence between the equational class of (pointed) F-quasigroups and the equational class corresponding to a certain notion of generalized module (with noncommutative, nonassociative addition) for an associative ring.
